Well, that is the quintessence of the birth of these pieces. It is the same feeling a mother gets when her yet-to-be born child’s head is in the pelvis and on its way down. The pain is so excruciating; at its climaxal height and she shrieks ” just shove it back in there!!!!”. How is this related? It has already happened, the sperm met the egg and they approved of each other, and we must endure the process and we must accept the situation. Similar to these pieces, they happened and hopefully I also need to approve and remind myself things will not be flawless, and will not embody paramount perfection. Due to the fact that our idea of perfection is relative, it cannot hold all possible properties of perfection to one and all. Yet I sit here trying to conger up the perfect words to describe ideal entities. Everything undergoes an intricate and lengthy process. I believe sometimes that we focus so greatly on the beauty of the flower that we forget to appreciate the greater functions of the leaf. Without it the flower will shrivel like a raisin. Though the leaf may not be as pleasing to the eye its contributions are what makes it fundamentally valuable. I would claim that leaves are underrated, and well flowers, over. Insides over outsides always.

I was a little distressed one day and made this piece as seen in the sharp jagged gem bead and sharp unexplained lines. It is the fiery version of the soft blue, calming symmetrical piece. Still interesting to look at but at longer durations one may feel strangely uncomfortable? I may be over-analyzing. I’m sure a optimistic person can see it as a fun merry piece.
